Kim Elia was inspired to study homeopathy when he read Gandhi’s quote about homeopathy, how it was “…the latest and refined method of treating patients economically and non-violently.” He has been studying homeopathy since 1987 and was in clinical practice with Dr. Paul Herscu, author of The Homeopathic Treatment of Children, Pediatric Constitutional Types. He has been in practicing Homeopathy for more than 35 years.
Kim was the former Director of Nutrition at Heartwood Institute, California, and has certified many nutritionists across the state of California. During that same time, he was the Director of Fasting at Heartwood, and worked with fasting therapeutics with thousands of people.
Kim was the principal instructor and developer of the four-year classical homeopathy program at the Hahnemann Academy in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan. In addition, Kim has been a keynote speaker at many Homeopathic and Nutrition conferences.

I thoroughly enjoyed this very extensive course of meticulously researched homeopathic history. A bonus for me was Kim’s inclusion of many pearls from our philosophy and Materia Medica. There are comparisons of remedies, epidemic case histories, and a look into Kim’s extensive knowledge of remedies, as well as discussions of Aphorisms from the Organon.
As a background, the course weaves in historical events and culture of the times, including Kim’s incredible knowledge of music and art, and quotes of well-known people of the time.
It is very well worth the time. I highly recommend this course.
